How I got here
Your True Self LLC was born out of a dream I had as an Occupational Therapist serving in Boston, Ma. I grew up in New Jersey, serving local communities through lifeguarding, camp counseling, swim instructing, and other roles with a strong child development focus. Driven by those early experiences, I went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science, a Minor in Psychology, and a Master's in Occupational Therapy.
Why this work
After years of specializing in pediatric Occupational Therapy, I seized the opportunity to start a small business focused on empowering children in the aquatic environment. Having experienced many different business models and leadership techniques throughout my career, I dreamt of creating a system and an organization where one’s personal gifts could truly flourish. The foundations of this organization were built on developing healthy, loving relationships designed to deeply understand families and help individuals achieve their highest potential. While swimming and Aquatic Occupational Therapy were our initial services, the organization has grown to provide a multitude of options for our clients, including sports, home OT, winter activities, school OT, and more.
